CAT 398 – (4) total Main Generators – Electric Propulsion.

Removed a cylinder head to find out the head dropped a valve so the cylinder pack and head were changed out. Test ran unit to ensure everything was working properly.

Changed out the governor drive coupling and all the jerk pumps were installed. All fuel nozzles were changed out as well. Performed a failure analysis to figure out why the #6 main bearing spun.
